General Comments
Sows should be fed according to condition and should not be overfat or too thin when farrowing. Rememeber to treat the weaned piglets like babies. Temperature control and biosecurity are paramount.
Economic Considerations / Profitability
Profitability is always a function of efficiency. The pigs should therefore be as healthy and as well nourished as possible. This will ensure optimum conversion of nutrients into meat and milk.
